Location Services

  • You can save time at the counter when you activate Accelerated Check-in online. Just provide your driver's license and contact information that are normally collected at pick-up and we will be ready when you arrive. You'll be on the road and on vacation before you know it!

  • After Hours Pick-up:

    Picking up your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. After Hours Pick-Up might require you follow a few additional steps, which you'll see in your confirmation email.

    After Hours Return:

    Returning your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. We'll tell you where to park it; just drop the keys in the dropbox and you're on your way!

    Skip the rental counter lines and check-in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your rental car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and simply drive away.

    No need to visit the counter or kiosk. You can go straight to your car!

    In order to take advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to activate Accelerated Check-in online then choose the 'Skip the Counter' option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter a valid credit card (no charge is made until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and get on the road!

Rental Policies

  • A fee of 30 EUR is charged for each additional driver. Price does not include 20% VAT.

  • After hours pickups: After Hours pickup service is available at this location for an additional fee of 69.00 EUR per rental. Please proceed to the rental counter at the arranged after hours services time to collect your rental.
    After hours returns: After hours returns are available at this location. Please return rental vehicle to car rental returns. Park and lock vehicle and return car keys to the drop box. All fees quoted include VAT and local Airport fees.

  • Surcharge of 30 EUR per rental + VAT applies to any customer who is at the date of the rental pick up younger than 25. This surcharge does not apply to customers aged 25 and older. 

  • Vehicles can be driven in all European countries except Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
    A surcharge of 36 EUR will apply for all cross border travels.
    This surcharge is charged monthly for long-term rentals.
    In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization. Driving the vehicle in another country without prior authorization will require the customer to pay for all recovery expenses in case of an accident or breakdown.

  • CDW Collision Damage Waiver - Collision insurance with limited liability of 1000 EUR. CDW does not cover damage or loss of keys, navigation system, tires, windscreen, undercarriage, hub-caps and rims. 

  • Delivery and Collection is available on request for corporate accounts. Customers can arrange delivery and collection throughout Slovakia by contacting the branch. A fee of 0.23 EUR per kilometer plus VAT applies for Delivery and Collection service. This service is available during and outside of the branch counter hours, however any delivery and collection out of hours will incur an additional fee of 30.00 EUR plus VAT. Delivery and Collection service is free of charge within the city limits of Bratislava, Košice and Žilina.

  • All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as pick-up will be subject to a one-way fee. Domestic and international one-way rentals are permitted to selected locations and must be pre-booked or authorized at the time of pick-up. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route and car category.

  • All vehicles are supplied with a full tank and must be returned with full tank. If the vehicle is not full tanked by return, the customer will be charged for the difference of missing fuel according to current price stated in the Rental Agreement of the Renter. Customer can also purchase prepaid fuel product. Price for prepaid fuel differs by car model and will be communicated by the counter staff.

  • PAI Personal Accident Insurance - Charge for arranging supplementary insurance of passengers in vehicle in accordance with character of insurance event (up to 7808 EUR per passenger). Number of passengers must not exceed the allowed number for rental vehicle.

  • Methods of payment: Credit cards  VISA, AMEX, MasterCard, Eurocard, Diners Club. Companies can pay by invoice. Cash payment is possible with pre-authorization on a credit card only.

    If customer has no valid credit card or has insufficient funds on the credit card, lessor may refuse to release to such client the vehicle.

    Deposit: A 1000 EUR deposit applies for renters with inclusive product which includes Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection cover and 1500 EUR for renters with exclusive product (without insurance).

  • Roadside Assistance is available in case of an accident or other technical problems. This service is available nonstop (24/7) by calling +421 910 880 492. Surcharge for Roadside assistance is 13.92 EUR per day including VAT and local Airport fees. Should renters decline Roadside Assistance but encounter vehicle mechanical issues or breakdown of which they are not at fault; this service will provided at no additional cost.

  • Customer will need passport and valid Driver´s Licence together with International Driver's Licence (when needed according to requirements for the country of issue). All documents have to have valid photo of the holder.

  • Third Party Liability cover is mandatory by law and included in the basic price of rental.
